Evaluation
Staff assesses individual substance use and makes
recommendations regarding the appropriate diagnostic impression
and level of treatment, if any, required to meet the individual
needs.
Residential Treatment
The adult Residential Treatment programs are designed for individuals
who need more of a structured setting than outpatient treatment services
can provide.
Outpatient Treatment
Outpatient Services include both intensive and extended levels of care.
Both levels of care provide individual, group, and family counseling.
Length of stay varies according to individual needs.
Outpatient Methadone Treatment
Methadone medication is provided as an adjunct to substance abuse
treatment. Clients are admitted to treatment by a physician after an
assessment process determines the appropriateness for such care.
Detoxification (Iowa Only)
CADS Country Oaks Facility supports a
Medically Monitored Detoxification unit. This unit has a twenty-four
hour nursing staff on duty. Clients are seen daily by a physician to
monitor the detoxification process.
Halfway House (Iowa Only)
The Halfway House program is for individuals who are in need of ongoing
placement due to either increased potential for continued use/relapse
after primary substance abuse treatment.
Continuing Care
This is an extended program with on-going support for adults who
complete a primary treatment program.
Women’s Services (Iowa Only)
The Women and Children’s Services program provides ancillary and
supportive services designed to guide and empower recovering women and
their children.
Illinois DUI Evaluation & Risk Education
Persons, who have been charged with a Driving Under the Influence (DUI)
offense in Illinois, can be evaluated at the CADS
Rock Island Office. Risk education classes are also available.
Iowa Course for Drinking Drivers
Persons who have been charged with an Operating While
Intoxicated (OWI) in Iowa can be evaluated at our Iowa
facilities. The required Iowa Department of Transportation 12
hour drinking driver’s course is available.
